SERVICE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Maureen will provide services to location of your choice. All bridal rates include travel within the city of Toronto and certain areas of York and Durham region (Vaughan, Richmondhill, Markham, Pickering, Ajax). Further distances are subjected to extra charges. Parking and accommodation fees may apply. Please have a table and chair set up (preferably somewhere with natural light), as well as easy access to electrical outlets.
PAYMENT:
A 30% non-refundable or non-transferable retainer fee along with a completed service contract is required to secure booking for services. Payment for the retainer fee can be made by credit card, electronic money transfer or cash. Retainer fee will be used toward your hair and/or makeup services. Remaining balance must be paid in full by credit card or cash on the day of the event upon Maureen's arrival or by electronic money transfer at least one week before the event date.

CANCELLATION:
Please e-mail and/or call the moment you realize the date will not work or no longer require my service. Your retainer fee will be non-refundable for reasons including but not limited to cancellation of wedding, date change, change in services, weather, sickness. I value the time of my clients. Please value mine.
COVID CANCELLATION:
As Maureen Posadas strictly follow provincial shutdown and mandate for the health and safety of herself and clients, Maureen Posadas will only perform services when the government permits personal services. Should you need to cancel for any reasons related to COVID-19, I am offering a full refund of the the retainer fee or carry it forward to a later date. All clients will be required to fill out a Health Screening Questionnaire and Liability Release Form 24-48 hours before the day of.
LIABILITY:
Maureen Posadas strictly follows COVID-19 Safety policies. Infrared forehead thermometer will be used prior to performing a service. Face shield and mask will be used while performing a service. All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are all hypoallergenic and professional grade. Any skin condition should be reported before makeup application. The client agrees that Maureen Posadas is not legally liable or responsible for any injuries, ailments, losses, damages, costs, claims and actions that may occur to bride and/or bridal party.
SERVICE PREPATIONS:
For makeup preparation, cleanse your face the morning before the makeup application. Expoliate lips the night before. Refrain from expoliating face, waxing, and/or tweezing at least 2 days before your appointment. Facial treatments and tanning beds should be done 2 weeks ahead of time.
For hair preparation, wash and blowdry your hair the night before. Overly conditioned hair will not hold curls properly. Do not use flat iron. Avoid using products such as serums and oils. There is an additional cost of $25 if the hair needs to be blowdried before styling.
SERVICE DURATION:
Full makeup application takes 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the look you desire, amount of coverage you require, and lash application.
Hairstyling takes 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the look you desire, application of hair extensions, and the length, density and texture of the hair.
LAST MINUTE SERVICES:
If there are others who requires my services on the day of, I can definitely accomodate as long as there is enough time. In this case, I only take cash as payment.
